How much does sofa removal cost?

A 2 seater is £65 and a 3 seater £90, including loading and disposal. Corner sofas, sofa beds and armchairs are priced from a photo, usually within 10 minutes.

Can you take a sofa down the stairs from a flat?

Yes. Our crew carries it down from any floor. If it won’t fit round a corner or through a door, they take off the legs or any parts that come apart.

Can you collect today?

Yes. Book before 6pm and we’ll collect the same day, anywhere we cover. You choose the arrival window when you book.

Will my old sofa be recycled?

Usually not. Because the foam and fabric may contain persistent organic pollutants, sofas and armchairs have to be destroyed, normally by incineration with energy recovery. We take them to authorised sites that do this properly.

Can you take other things at the same time?

Yes. Add photos of everything when you book and we’ll price it all together.

Why old sofas need proper disposal

Sofas and armchairs can’t simply go to landfill. Their foam and fabric may contain persistent organic pollutants (POPs), so under Environment Agency rules they have to be destroyed, usually by incineration with energy recovery, rather than buried or recycled.

That’s why tips and recycling centres keep sofas apart from other waste. We take yours to an authorised site that deals with them properly, and send you a waste transfer note as proof.

Before we arrive

Clear a path from the sofa to the front door.
Take the cushions off and check down the sides for keys and coins.
Tell us the floor and whether there’s a lift when you book.
